Harry Hill's Alien Fun Capsule

Harry Hill’s Alien Fun Capsule (ITV, 8.30pm) Back on top form, Harry Hill returns with another zany half hour of entertaining madness. Tonight’s star guests on a panel game with no point are Mel Giedroyc, Eamonn Holmes and Judith Chalmers.

The Last Kingdom (BBC2, 9pm) Series two of the Beeb’s less-than-impressive answer to Game Of Thrones. It’s the ninth century and warrior Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon) heads north through a fractured land to avenge his father’s death. A swirling mass of sub-Shakespearian shouting, booming battle cries, poor dialogue and bad acting. Enjoy.
