What to watch and review on Thursday, October 13.
EastEnders (BBC1, 7.30pm) Roll up roll up. All the fun of the funeral parlour as Billy experiences early problems running cross-dressing Les Coker’s undertakers. Dead exciting.
The Apprentice (BBC1, 9pm) After last week’s lacklustre launch show the dimwit “candidates” make a mess of creating an advertising campaign for Japanese jeans. Plus your chance to see “Lord” Sugar cracking crap scripted jokes in the Bored Room. Is this same-every-year comedy search for the idiot tycoons of tomorrow past its sell-by date?
The Fall (BBC2, 9pm) Serial killer Paul Spector’s (Jamie Dornan) theatrical amnesia is a source of grave concern for whispering detective Stella Gibson (Gillian Anderson). Can she bring this scheming monster to justice?
Paranoid (ITV, 9pm) As the Cheshire cops try to identify the mysterious “Ghost Detective”, Bobby arrives in Germany to investigate Ruben’s murder. With viewing figure plummeting, this initially promising police drama has turned into a fully-fledged flop. So what went wrong?
Hunted (Channel 4, 9pm) Laughs all the way as the CCTV-addicted search team continue their hilarious hunt for the useless fugitives hoping to evade capture and win £100,000. With a bunch of rubbish ex cops on their trail, the money’s in the bag.
