Coronation Street (ITV, 7.30 and 8.30pm) After Steve receives an unsettling call from his jailbird dad Jim (so he does) he fears that he may have passed the muscle-wasting condition MD onto his unborn child. Meanwhile, Sarah finally cottons on that Gary knew all about Bethany’s diet pills.

The Victorian Slum (BBC2, 9pm) Yet another of those historical reality shows the Beeb is inordinately keen on. Edukashunol innit. Camera fodder civilians experience the living hell of Victorian poverty as they move into a pretend tenement building in the heart of London’s East End. Cor blimey guvnor.

Derren Brown: Miracle (Channel 4, 9pm) In a show recorded live at London’s Palace Theatre, the illusionist exposes the shady techniques used by self-styled faith healers. This should cure you of the belief that evangelists can cure you.

Morgana Robinson’s The Agency (BBC2, 10pm) More impressions from the mimic who takes off two or three of her targets brilliantly but leaves you wondering who the hell the rest of them are supposed to be. She thinks she’s great at EastEnders duo Danny Dyer and Natalie Cassidy. Wrong on both counts. But her Fearne Cotton is genius. The “comedy” script… not so much.
