Two Doors Down

I am happy to say that we are now watching series two of Two Doors Down. If you can try and watch series 1. Yet again BBC Scotland have come up trumps with this comedy.

Set in Glasgow it follows the lives of three families living in one street. There are six key characters, excellent choice of characters as they are so believable and you can associate with them people you know in the real world.

Eric and Beth Laird and their gay son Ian are the peacekeepers in the street, the go to family when there is a crisis. Cathy and Colin White are the stereotypical "we are posh" but we aren't neighbours. Add in Christine and her pregnant daughter Sophie the "we are poor" neighbours. Christine is a hypochondriac who is happy to milk any situation to her own gain. Admirably played by Elaine C Smith who we know better as Mary Doll from Rab C Nesbitt.

It would appear that BBC Scotland are the ones who are producing good comedy these days. I think Still Game should be on the box everyday!! Happy viewing.
