Tonight's TV tips: Broadchurch, The Nightly Show, EastEnders and Corrie
What to watch and review on Monday, March 27.
Coronation Street (ITV, 7.30 & 8.30pm) Desperate Daniel tries to talk to Sinead about her miscarriage. And Toyah makes the mistake of deciding the give serial philanderer Peter another chance.
EastEnders (BBC1, 8pm) New headed Michelle’s jealousy over Preston’s blossoming romance with sulky teenager Bex reaches fever pitch. And tawdry Tina is alarmed at the prospect of a visit from “the social”.
Broadchurch (ITV, 9pm) Now aware that there’s a serial rapist on the rampage, Hardy and Miller are more confused than ever. Meanwhile, sex attack victim Trish does the decent thing by revealing to a devastated Cath that she’s been sleeping with her husband. Prepare yourself for a shock ending that even by the standards of this tangled mystery is seriously unexpected.
The Nightly Show (ITV, 10pm) It’s Gordon Ramsay’s turn to dive into TV’s most poisoned chalice as he takes the helm of the late night chat show that time forgot. After his hapless predecessors Davina McCall and Dermot O’Leary took the feeble ratings below the million mark, can Gord Almighty cook up better viewing figures? Or is this on-going disaster doomed to get even worse?
