The Last Leg

The usual comedic antics of Adam Hills and friends was suspended for the first 20 minutes to pay tribute and discuss the death of Jo Cox and the Orlando massacre.

Unlike most reactionary news prog's they had time to reflect on the stupidity of murder with Adam giving one of the best statements I have heard about these tragic circumstances.

They then went on to their usual comedy destruction of the weeks events in general leaving aside the referendum question in honour of the dead politician.

The final call was a choir from her home town singing bridge over troubled waters which brought a tear to my eye when I remembered the words spoken at the start of the show.

All in all another great show from the team whose dissection of the weekly news be it political or natural is far superior their irreverent look takes a swipe at any who defy democracy or attack the poor I recommend you look out this and other episodes via more4 especially the one prior to this with Russel Crowe and Jeremy Corbyn
